How To Start/Stop The Data Taking

1. Select the Startup entry in the General menu. The ``Startup'' window will appear.
2. Select run type, recording type, fill run number, and if recording will be done on tape, fill the tape VID (Visual IDentifier). Click on the OK button. The ``Startup'' window will disappear.
3. Click on the START button to start the run. Later you can pause the run, continue it, stop it with the appropriative buttons.
4. To shutdown the system you should stop the run and select the Shutdown entry from the General menu.
